Introduction to Campaign (Challenge)
Trying to get back to an active lifestyle can be challenging especially when Malaysians are used to staying at home due to the Covid-19 restrictions. In line with the brand’s mission to encourage the society to “Get Out There” and take on more adventures without limitations or doubts, our task was to encourage and expose Malaysians to explore the great outdoors and catch up with the wonders of nature via a fun splashy event that intrigue them to be active while having fun.
The Solution
Set in one of the most scenic family fun adventures park, together with Hypergear, we devised one of the most family-oriented and uniting event that even participants as young as 3 years old could attend.
The first-ever #GoHyper Splash Dash event was a fun wet and wild splash 5km Fun Run that promotes light-hearted family fun run where runners ran through a series of fun water obstacles that also doubled up as photo-ops for treasured memories. Participants were also delighted with the thrills of water warzones and special game booths to keep the splashing good fun going even after the run.
The event was exclusively promoted via social media and retail outlets.
The Result
The campaign lead to 4,000 Malaysians joining the first-ever #GoHyper event at MAEPS Serdang, Selangor with 8,000 newsletter sign-ups for the next event
