At EMG, we believe in the power of H.E.R.O. -
Help each other succeed
Embrace growth and drive change
Results-driven
Open communication
This is not just a motto, but a way of life that we embody in everything we do.
Recently, the EMG team embarked on an exciting journey to Zen House Broga for a 2D1N Better Me Interpersonal Workshop. Led by the renowned life & business coach, Mr. Calvin Chong, this unique workshop focused on personal growth, self-improvement, and inspiring individuals to become better versions of themselves.
As we stepped out of our daily routines and into this liberating space, we were ready to embrace the challenge of self-discovery and growth. The Better Me Interpersonal Workshop was unlike any other team-building event we had experienced before. Rather than focusing on productivity, communication, or leadership skills, this workshop was all about personal development.
The goal was simple - to inspire us to become the best versions of ourselves by challenging us to grow in various aspects of our lives for personal and professional growth that allowed us to embody the HERO spirit of EMG. Through various activities and exercises tailored to our unique strengths and weaknesses, we were pushed out of our comfort zones to identify our limiting beliefs and develop strategies to overcome them. We learned to set meaningful goals and develop action plans to achieve them.
But it wasn't just about individual growth. The Better Me Interpersonal Workshop gave us the valuable opportunity to share our life experiences and understand each other on a deeper level. By fostering a sense of empathy and compassion, we strengthened our team bond and created a more collaborative working environment.
What's more, the workshop provided a space for us to focus solely on personal growth and development. This allowed us to explore new areas of our lives and take risks without fear of judgment or criticism. It was a liberating experience that left us feeling empowered, confident, and self-aware. Through this challenge, we opened up to each other and came out as better versions of ourselves.
All in all, we had a great time as we came in as a humble human, but we left as a team of HEROes.
